You are a young boy who is trying to fight in a war, though you don't know how to, and you are worried that if your side loses, hundreds of people willl die. The Horse and His Boy, by C.S. Lewis, is a book about a boy, named Shasta, who meets a talking horse, named Bree. They find out that they are both Narnian, so they run away to go to Narnia. Along the way they find another talking horse, Hwin, and a girl, Aravis. They decide that they will all go to Narnia and on their journey Shasta finds out that he has a big role in saving Narnia. Throughout the book Shasta shows others that he is brave and caring.
My favorite part of the book was when Rabadash got stuck on a hook and got turned into a donkey, it was so funny
